The Changes I Made for Optimal FAT LOSS

I posted a reel on social media yesterday that maybe blew up a little bit and I wanted to share it HERE! I talked about things that I recently changed in my hashimotos routine as I transition into my new normal and thought that maybe you could also find it helpful!

Losing 12 lbs of fat and inflammation

Let me be clear- that was not 12 lbs OVERNIGHT! But I’ve been very transparent about my wellness and hashimotos journey coming off IVF so here’s what I did to reset my hashimotos wellness plan:
•I tracked my days for a few days (not just food)
•I ordered a fresh home panel of labs to see where my numbers were at
•I logged all my symptoms ( I use this simple wellness tracker)

And THIS gave me my starting point! Knowing your daily activity and factors is a vital part of the equation! If you want to know what I did next and a step by step detailed instruction of what I implemented, well, here you go!

What I did:

1 —

I reset my nutrition plan to ensure I was fueling my body properly. If your nutrition plan isn't right, nothing else that I tell you will matter. It's not about just going gluten free or doing other eliminations. It's about eating the right amount of food in the right balance. Right food AND right amounts. If you ever need your nutrition plan set, please CONTACT ME or take my Hashimotos Nutrition Course so we can make sure you’re on the right track!

2 —

I swapped out my fuel source from carbs to antiinflammatory fats! Still the same calories, just a different makeup (and no, I don't count macros, I use a simple approach to it).

3 —

I primed my gut so that it could actually absorb the food I was putting in it. I did the baking soda test and found out I had low stomach acid so I incorporated a digestive enzyme with an optimal gut stack.

4 —

I logged everything every day to understand how my body was responding (using the same simple wellness tracker)

5 —

I used a metabolism tracker to be able to measure every single morning how my body responded

6 —

I made adjustments each day based on symptoms plus responses from the previous day and tweaked until I got the results I was looking for.

I know some people can get really frustrated with the process. It can be hard to know what to change, how to change it, and what to tweak to get the response you’re looking for. I’m always happy to help you clear up the unknowns! Feel free to CONTACT ME to tell me a little bit more about you and how I can serve your wellness needs or take a look at option on my Hashimotos Courses page.
